Thank you for being here and checking out my website! I’m so excited to have this space to share my journey, recipes, and thoughts with you. My goal is to inspire you on your health journey—to ask questions, find answers, and share valuable information along the way.
People often ask me, “Why did you choose to study nutrition?” Easy! I’ve seen and felt firsthand the difference that quality nutrition can make. I suffered from chronic digestive issues for years, thinking they were normal. I’ve had to lie on my friend’s bathroom floor just to relieve my bloated stomach. I dealt with alternating constipation and diarrhea. I struggled with skin issues that dermatologists couldn’t resolve. But when I started learning how food impacts every system in the body and began making changes to my diet and routine, everything changed.
This is my “why.” It’s what led me to pursue this career—so I can educate others on how to support their bodies, feel better, and improve their quality of life.
We know that diet and lifestyle have a huge impact on how we age and our risk for chronic illness. If there’s a way to extend the quality of my life and stay active for as long as possible, I’m going to do it. I’m not afraid of dying—I’m afraid of getting sick. I don’t want to get sick. I’ve witnessed illness and disease all around me. We aren’t losing our loved ones to old age—we’re losing them to disease.
I want to keep riding bikes with my kid for as long as I can. I want to keep traveling with my best friend, Corey (and ride bikes with him too—lol). I want to be here for my future grandkids. I’m taking my health seriously now so I can keep doing all the things I still want to do. I don’t want to stop or slow down. I’ll do what it takes to keep my body functioning properly for as long as possible.
That is my “why.” For my kid. For my family. For me.
I am determined to live the fullest life—the fast life. And that requires proper nutrition and daily habits to keep my body and brain functioning optimally. You reap what you sow. Put in the work now so you can enjoy the rewards now and later.
Don’t wait for a diagnosis.
Don’t wait to get sick.
Don’t wait until your symptoms worsen, leaving you with an uphill battle and difficult decisions.
You can start improving your health now, with small, intentional steps toward your goals. Let’s prevent sickness as much as possible. Let’s set ourselves up for success now, so that even if we do face a health crisis, we’ll have a stronger foundation to fight and heal.
This is the type of work that feels good—and you deserve to feel good.
If you need support getting started, send me a message—I’d love to chat. Sometimes, starting and staying consistent is the hardest part. That’s where having a coach makes all the difference! I’ll be your personal cheerleader, teacher, and accountability partner because I thrive on seeing you succeed.
Food is powerful.
Food is medicine.
Food can heal.
Food is fuel.
It’s the small, daily habits that lead to the powerful and fulfilling life you crave. Keep going.
